What would I do without my buddies?
Give up!! That’s what I would do!! I know my 6 pound gain has not been because of my back injury- I gained that weight before I hurt it. I know what caused it…and a year ago I would have just said, forget it, and went right back to my unhealthy lifestyle. I’ve been on this journey what I consider seriously for a year now…and I’ve lost a grand total of 12 pounds. This can be very discouraging, and I know for a fact without my support system here at BS and my Wildcats team members, I wouldn’t still be trying. So, thank you goes out to everyone who supports, uplifts, and encourages me not just once in a while, but every single day…please know that you are the reason I am still fighting for what I really desire! And someday when I’m there I look foward to having a big thank-you celebration for all of you!!
Betsy! As if I haven’t cried enough this morning.
I love you girl! That’s right, never give up because it’s so worth it.
I understand you hon. If it wasn’t for this place, I would have fallen of the wagon and just lay there. It’s knowing that there are hundreds, thousands of other people going through this each day that makes it easy to come here confess my sin with food, my failure and triumphant moments because people like you care, and are sincere about it.
BIG KITTY HUG!!

I want in on that Kitty Hug!! You know our team wouldn’t be so amazing without all of us amazing people! I’m blessed to call you a teammate and a friend.
Betsy girl…
damn it seems to be one of those days…read a blog and cry…write a blog and cry lol.
Whew…its ok…we get all these tears out of the way and drain all this emotional stuff we can come back and kick some ass!
I’m a gainer too this week…2 lbs. Sucks but life goes on.
I think we all need to band together..lift each other up and get moving again!!
Love Debbie
Betsy, have you had your thyroid and cortisol(stress hormone) levels checked? I COULD NOT lose anything, even while exercising 3 hours 5 days a week, before I found out that my levels for these two things were low. I am still within what most MDs consider “normal range”, but low enough that it was affecting my weight(and my life, stress wise). I started taking a low dose of thyroid and cortisol and I was able to lose the weight. I had to go to a hormone specialist to get this done, but it was worth the money, because they are more schooled in hormone problems and know that even being a “little low” may be enough to effect you specifically. They didn’t lump me in with the norm. They treated me as a person. Just a thought. Hope things get better for you
Keep fighting the good fight! (((HUGZ)))

Oh Betsy, love you too. You don’t know how much you have encouraged me also. You can and will do this, and we will be here for you. Hugs,Kama
We’re all in it together, and I’m the same as you, if it weren’t for all you guys I’d never have gone back to trying again after having the baby!
